New York, NY Ashton returned to the GQ Gentleman's Ball this year, an event that raises money for charities dedicated to its four focus areas: Conservation, Hunger, Education, and Leadership . The Gentleman's Fund Initiative raises awareness for issues that are essential to modern men, and encourages men to be agents of change by supporting charities that champion these causes. The DNA Foundation was a featured charity this year, along with NRDC, Oceana, Feeding America, and others. Ashton spoke about the issue of child sex trafficking and recognized honoree Joshua Hall, who has been an advocate for children sold into sex slavery in Ghana.
